I had the sweetest Easter yesterday with @nitrojordanburns, @chubstagram69, and my family. @nitrojordanburns and I modeled my satin scarves and we felt so classy and glamorous. How many ways can you wear a scarf in your hair? Swipe for close ups of this style with the scarf woven into a bun. Stay tuned to see @nitrojordanburns ponytail scarf tomorrow!

Take 2: Transforming this panel into something new and swampy. We shall see how this piece (and the crazy weather forecast today in New Orleans) turns out.

It’s been such a gorgeous week in New Orleans and today I’m getting back into the studio for some fine art! It’s been a minute since I’ve made anything other than textiles so today I’m gessoing this beautiful piece of cypress repurposed from an old New Orleans home to turn into a mixed media piece. So many thanks to @chubstagram69 ‘s grandpa for cutting these beautiful panels for me. Can’t wait to see what this piece becomes!

I’m taking a well earned break this week thanks to all of your support and business last Saturday @freretstreetfestival! The festival was a blast and I can’t wait to bring my work to Lafayette for @festivalinternational in a few weeks. Crepe Myrtle Blooms and Branches in satin polyester. Each scarf is finished with a hand sewn rolled hem! Can’t wait to debut these this weekend.

New pattern, new product: Magnolias in Peach on satin! Each of my satin scarves is 25in. x 25in., features one of my original designs digitally printed with eco friendly ink, and a hand sewn rolled hem. I’m releasing this scarf along with three other patterns this Saturday @freretstreetfestival. Join me to shop the new goods this weekend. I’ll be previewing each one of my scarves on social media this week leading up to their debut Saturday.
